Families Who Support Breast Cancer Survivors, Inc.

Hello, I am a recent Breast Cancer Survivor, First diagnosed in April 2010 and after several months of the fearful journey, in which I became engolfed in a blur of intense emotion and pain from this cancer. Pain that came both physically and mentally. Thru the pain and activity I experienced, the medical team (surgeon, oncologist, radiation oncologist, and personal physician) attacked the disease. Then, when the treatment comes to a successful end (as, fortunately, it so often does), I was released to journey on my own back to normalsy, quickly discovering that recuperating from cancer is one thing, but recovering from its treatment, and the impact it has on your life, is another.

I am happy to say though,I am a Cancer Survivor for approximately 5 months as of  this March, 2011.  I am glad to be able to support other breast cancer survivors, and the families of people who are going thru the cancer process presently.  Being apart of this organization is something I feel real good about.
